2013 Lecture Series

Document Actions

In 2012 Illahee examined several systems -- democracy, economy, education, health care, national defense -- that are resistant to criticism or change. We found that they are no longer just issues or complex problems to be solved, they’ve become commodities that are increasingly controlled by a small subset of society.

Who influences, controls, and owns other key aspects of our lives:  what we eat, the information we access, the environment, our own finances,  and our politicians? In short, who owns us? And what can we do about it?

Illahee 2013 Lecture Series

All lectures begin at 7pm at the First Congregational Church, 1123 SW Park Ave, Portland, OR
