Marilyn Waring will change your perceptions of justice, economics and the worth of your own work forever.  David Suzuki has said that she “penetrates to the heart of the global, ecological and social crisis that afflicts the world.” 

In 1975, 22-year-old Waring became the youngest member in the New Zealand Parliament, and has gone on to consult on economic development for the United Nations in dozens of counties throughout the world.

All lectures are held at 7:30pm in the First Congregational Church, 1126 SW Park Ave., Portland. Doors open at 6:30pm.  (Map)
